I may or may not have send my ID to a non suspicious print and mail service. I may or may not regret my decision. We will see.I'm not sure I want more people handling my doc's than needed.

Agree - I have done my details via DocuPost multiple times - so far I trust them more than Qantas/Optus/Medibank etc etcSomething like DocuPost I'm assuming?

Also what sort of docs are they likely to request ? ID ? Bank statements ?Is the danger with sending documents personally and directly from Australia the fact that it will become apparent that one is not a US resident ?
I should have used docupost, i used a different one that i probably shouldnt have. They insist that the letter has been sent, sk i guess i can only wait now.Something like DocuPost I'm assuming?
Not at all - docupost is legitimate service - The banks know you are sending AU passport - so no biggie in my opinionIs the danger with sending documents personally and directly from Australia the fact that it will become apparent that one is not a US resident ?
