Needing an extra step for card verification could be the difference, noticed that with Mastercard. When I paid using my US Amex it accepted the Qantas Marketplace gift card purchase without any verification.

Agree - best she can keep doing - can she go in branch and chat to rep and get them to call on her behalf?
I've suggested she do this but she says she is too busy to catch the bus into town. Apart from her usual business she has just appeared in a FIFA Club World Cup advert. She has alot on her plate so I guess I believe her but I'll make the suggestion again.

Any recent DPs for Amex turnaround times for ITIN submissions for applications?

An update on this. Applied for the Amex Plat for 175K SUB for 8K spend within 6 months. Submitted application and documents within the hour and had to follow up on the 3rd day to be told that I needed to submit a photo ID as well.

All sorted and will call today to have the card expedited to Aus.

Do you still need to wait 10 days to get expedited to Australia? - Have an ABP got approved on monday

Just called and unfortunately still 10 days! I had an instance where it was sooner but I think that was a fluke.

Any reason why you got the ABP?
