A funny article at news.com, what's your favourite funny name, mine is Thai Surprise at Scarborough, QLD!

Trick question, nothing is better.

But if there was it would be walking INTO a restaurant and having a good old-fashioned LOL in appreciation at the name of the joint.

Thanks to the genius and extensive culinary dining of Ben Brusey, author of Pu Pu Hot Pot: The World’s Best Restaurant Names, we’ve compiled a list of the cream of the crop of funniest eatery names.

Frying Nemo: A fish and chip store in Goole, UK.
Pho Shizzle: A Vietnamese restaurant in Cambridge, Canada.
Has Beans: A vintage coffee house in Edinburgh, UK.

A Salt & Battery: A fish and chip shop in New York, USA.

There is a Chinese convenience store in Sydney called Morning Glory. Big illuminated sign out front.

Haha, I've seen a Pu Pu Hotpot in Boston, hilarious.

Maybe not as funny as the ones in the list, but I've always found "Gastro Park" (in Sydney) to be a pretty unique name. Amazing food too, but the service leaves a bit to be desired!

Cheers,
- Febs.

Isn't there a One Hung Lo located in Smith street collingwood?

This is probably irrelvant, because it's not an actual restaurant name, but if I was going to open up my own Restaurant I'd go with Thai/Australian fusion and call it "Thai me kangaroo down sport".

On the GC their is a Indian restaurant called the "Curry Muncher". Actually got robbed last weekend.

Not a name, but I recall a diner on an East Coast USA road trip (think it was located next to a bus or train terminus) advertising a "Terminal Lunch"

And isn't there a place in NSW called "How The Focaccia?"?
