What cheeses me off

Hotels who have showers over bathtub. These should banned and nothing anyone ever has to say in defense of them will ever get me to change my mind
Dubbed "shubs" by some people. They are everywhere, even in some of the nicest hotels (admittedly in the lower tier room types), and sometimes you can't even see if you're going to get one based on the hotel pictures when booking them.

Not a fan but I put up with them, though I carefully note where all the contact points are. WCMO about shubs are inadequate covers from shub to rest of bathroom, i.e. long enough curtain or mystery screens (e.g. glass) that are only long enough for someone to crowd in next to the showerhead.

I thought you would have made sure that you didn't book one of them - name and shame

You do not want to be in Brisbane right now looking for a place to rent.

Around a dozen people at the inspection in Auchenflower on Thursday, there were 2 of us inspecting another place in Auchenflower this morning a little early and when we were leaving about a dozen turned up, then another inspection in St Lucia for an average unit and about 30 people queued for inspection. We left after about 10 minutes near back of queue and agent had not yet turned up. There is no way 30 people are going to inspect in the alloted 10 minute inspection time.

The quality of rentals very poor, over inflated rents and as soon as anything half decent turns up its gone quick.

Lucky the agent gave us close to 4 months notice.

P.S. Someone mentioned that Brisbane has overtaken Melbourne in cost of living. I can see why.

Île-de-France Mobilités is an app for using public transport around Paris. When I attempted to set up an account, my IP was blocked, both on phone and website.

So, went in to request unblocking. The site is fortunately also in English with 'Contact Us' easy to find

Not a bad enquiry set up - all the following boxes are in English too

Probably the Nous écrire breadcrumb in the English version should have been a red flag 😁

Of course, the email you just received might be their universal way of putting it in the too hard pile. "Hey, we did our job! Ticket closed!"

On another note, why would your specific IP be blocked? Really odd... (guess a VPN is out of the question) Honestly, though, I'm not certain they would know what to do with your request...

It was a CloudFlare block; said your IP is blocked, ask the site to unblock it. I don't understand these things; maybe they've just blocked a whole range of IPs. I could use a VPN, but just want it to work.

Have re-sent a request in French.

WCMO... at the supermarket, there is an Express line for "10 items or less".

Guess how many people in the line clearly have greater than 10 items on them (one shamelessly pushes a trolley full of goods). Chastising from some in line and a final call at the checkout point by the cashier does not result in any yielding and only annoyance all around.

Bonus WCMO... wanna talk clickbait?

All around in First Class, eh? Qantas TYO-SYD is not First Class; it may be better than what the USA can offer as a "First Class" but it is not First Class. I think the challenge he sets forth is a difficult one and might not be possible; even if we take out Antarctica.
