Pretty much as it says on the tin.
Just booked the Melbourne Sofitel for a stay plus night and the app is saying the booking isn't eligible for ALL benefits (I am reading this as brekky and lounge access not happening).

Is this something anyone else has encountered? Going to ping the hotel and ask what the sitch is.

It just means you won't get points/status nights (although you can get the status night if you charge something to your folio).

The breakfast etc comes from being platinum, not the room booking.

Lots of reports of it happening across various hotels in various countries if the booking was made with points. I wouldn't worry about it..... yet.
