Since Qantas first launched status credits on the ground offers there have been a number of different offers such as BP, Woolworth, Qantas Wine, Qantas Hotels, Qantas Club, Qantas Health Insurance, vaccinations, credit cards etc. It seems to have gone very quiet with recent offers involving bonus Qantas points rather than status credits. As far as I can see there aren't any current 'on the ground' offers (apart from Green Tier which is sort of on the ground).

American Airlines seem to have moved to a loyalty model which is more about frequent spending than frequent flying, so I'm sure Qantas will be watching to see how that develops. If it is successful I wonder will we see Qantas offering more ways to earn status credits.

I think that's partly because Qantas is still extending status until the end of the year so earning SC isn't a priority for many at the moment. I expect we'll start to see more SC offers later in the year and early next year, including the return of credit card SC bonuses.

Points Club is QF's answer to this, and while it isn't directly tied in to status levels, the Qantas Club membership included with PC+ provides a similar goal for frequent spenders. Hopefully we see them tweak PC to provide more benefit those members are both frequent flyers & spenders.

Part of the reason for offering SC on the ground was to help Qantas keep member engagement. I would expect to see some of the offers again, but I doubt they will be as common as they were through the pandemic.
