Hello,
Wanted to put this thought and see what the uptake from the community will be.
I like to try first, new, last etc services. I have attempted to keep up to date with what's happening. In some instance, I have booked to fly on those special services and unable to due to other commitments etc.
And I can't seem to find a specific place/thread where this information is consolidated/available.
For example: first JQ service out of WSI, TK's IST-SIN service, QF PS flights coming up, AY did BKK-MEL (I think) couple of days back, QF A380 last service out of MEL last week .. etc ... I call these special flights - as in once in a lifetime opportunity to fly on a special service.
The sentiment (in my mind) is, the AFF team (editor, admin, contributors, writers etc.) and community folks - any of those that are in the know of what the special flights are can list the flights in this thread.
Those that are able can try and book themselves on those special flights. And as an added bonus, if there are more members from AFF on those flights - then it could become one of those party planes too
Imagine, in addition to "lounge meetups", we can have "special plane meetups"
Cheers,
Ade
