I'm booking my first family holiday with qantas and I am trying to figure out if my kids (4y/o and 2y/o) SC points goes to me or not?
Or must I sign up a Q FF number for them too(if that is even possible)?

I've tried my google skills but all i've found is that velocity lets you pool SC?

Qantas does not let you pool SC, unlike Velocity.

You can transfer points between family members though if that is also of concern (min 5,000 max 100,000, once per 12 months).

Given this, you must sign them both up to QFF - although you don't have to pay the joining fee as you can just sign them up to Everyday Rewards and at the same time open a QFF account free of charge.

I did exactly the same thing last year for my wife and 2 kids, gained some extra points, and they became QFF Silver, not that it was valuable to them at all... I wish they pooled the SC's, that would have been awesome.

Ah, that is really unfortunate. How do you sign up for Everyday Rewards? go to the counter at woolies and grab one or 2?

While Qantas Points and Status Credits can only be earned by individuals, children are welcome to join the program. There's no minimum age for new members, however a seat must be purchased for an infant under 2yrs in order to earn points and status credits for flights. As mentioned, once earned, points may be transferred between family members.

Looking forward to seeing you and your family on board soon. :)
