As a beginner FF with a lowly bronze status, I am still trying to learn the ropes of how the QFF program works. Whilst my dilemma is specific, it also leads to some general questions about accessing award seats.

I booked a JASA for 26 July 2013 from SYD-JNB. Now my partner wants to book on the same flight but there is no more JASA or award seats. And from my various attempts to change it up, I only 'see' availability of 1 seat per flight. Is this the same for everyone? Or if your status is higher, do you get more availability? If similar questions have been asked, please point me in the right direction :)

Seat availability various greatly, to get best choice book a year out, its said those with higher status get more choice. When we booked a JASA last year for BNE/LAX had 5 x J seats there.

Hmmm.... I looked at flightstats but it said the flight was too far out to check. Maybe I was not doing it right. I will go back and have another try.

Ahhh ... The flight you are looking for is more than 330 days out.

Then t you will need E/F.
