Okay I give up! Who knows who the logo on this envelope belongs to?
Whilst not getting access to Tabua Club in nadi last week, I did have a small win, when I asked for a envelope! I didn't get in but they gave me a bunch of these envelopes.
I am sure they were there since 1960:p Very curious - whos they were??

Cheers Tony

Albatross,

You're quite right, it is the rank of a Captain. And, they are from the "Captain's Club" I think it was called, and again I think it was Qantas. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong.

Hey thanks guys!
I spent ages trolling the net whilst being scoffed at by mrs D and junior D:oops: In one hour it was sorted by AFF! Well done:D

I thought they may have been CC but that would make the envelopes 16 years old. The lady did disapear into a rear storeroom for a while to find them. They do sorta look yellow.
I believe CC & Flight Deck were superceeded by the merge in 1992 when QP was born.

I think the Qantas Captains Club changed to The Qantas Club some years prior to the merger with Australian Airlines. I remember visiting the Captains Club lounge at BNE (the old international terminal) in 1989 prior to a business class departure to LAX (via HNL). It was also my first op-up to F for the BNE-LAX leg .
