Hi All. Apologies if this has been asked before, but I cant find much on this topic.
So, I am flying out next Satuday on SQ214 and decided to try my luck on...
mySQupgrade

On checking, the following message pops up: "There are no seats available for upgrade at the moment.
Availability is checked in real-time and it is possible that seats become available again. Please try again later, up till 50 hours before flight departure".

Does anyone have experience of bid/upgrade seats becoming available to economy class flyers and if so, when would be the best time to look again ? or just...keep looking. or...am I wasting my time?

I cannot answer your question, but just for your information, I have found upgrades on SQ being very poor use of points (getting outright reward seats in J costs marginally more points than using points to upgrade from an economy revenue seat).

Edit: Unless you are talking about paying cash for the upgrade, in which case the point I am trying to make is moot.
