SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

I hv done this flt a few times coming back from Europe. Reckon it helps with jet lag to get home in the arvo/evening - you’re almost back on Aust time leaving Spore, can nap if you need, and once home it’s not too long to struggle awake before you can have a real sleep.

Yep I’ve been doing this flight for years. Hot turn inbound from Europe or South Africa and then head straight home. Quick unpack annd into bed - kills the jet lag.

Only issue is that I find the main meal service to be too early in the flight. I’d prefer to nap and then have an early dinner onboard. Most pax are connecting from much further afar, but I get that they largely time it for Singapore departures.

From another thread:
SQ I find is usually too warm
I will answer here as my exp is SQ specific - I have lost count of the number of times I have felt R, F and J cabins have been too hot but most times a simple request to Cabin Manager will see them adjust temperature down.

I always BYO lightweight PJs as SQ sleeper suits are way too hot for me.

For me, who never wears full length PJs even in winter , there are no airline PJs that work. I just take light t shirt and some loose fitness type shorts. Works well. Anything that covers my arms and legs is too much.
