Hi all,
not sure if this has been raised before, but I noticed over the weekend that SQ recently changed their PE fare buckets again.
They've added a new category called Premium Economy Lite on certain routes, to go with their PE Standard and Flexi fares.
PE Standard is coded as P, Flexi is S/T.
PE Lite, though, is coded R - and it doesn't appear anywhere on the VA status/points earn tables.
I'm fairly sure these would earn SCs and points, but given VA don't seem to know about SQ's R fare bucket, I'm reluctant to book anything lest these fares not be recognised by Velocity.
I called the Velocity Contact Centre today to ask and got absolutely nowhere, the guy basically just read verbatim from the VA table on the Velocity website, and read me the VA earn at that
Would like to ask the following:
1) Does a Premium Economy Lite (R) fare accrue points and SCs (if credited to Velocity)?
2) If so, what is the earn rate on these fares?
3) Is there any restriction on routes (if any) for these fare buckets (e.g limited to Transpacs, limited to Asia, etc).
