What am i doing wrong?? I looked for Paris to Melbourne… it seems the first date available for the above fare is June?

It looks like they've just extended the timeframe for booking the original offer (at a marginally higher price) without offering any new seats at that price :(

Thanks Matt! I can find quite a bit of availability on these ones :) On the limited date range I checked the cheap fares come with a 15 hour transit in SIN.

If I get one of these, and book the return to Europe for SQ end of current schedule (Mar 2023), do you think I will have a good chance of changing to Jul 2023 when it opens up? Just need D availability right?

Travel must be completed by 30 Nov (although the tickets are valid for a year). So you'd have to pay the fare difference.

Yep. Also, the ticket validity would be 12 months (so must complete the trip within 12 months of booking).

Hi guys. I nabbed one of these deals, departing CDG in Aug and returning back to CDG a few days before Christmas. However as plans "potentially" change, i realized that re-booking the return leg from Mel via the manage booking system is a pain and a half.
I'm' aware that i have to pay for fare difference, but it seems like, all the fares i search up where it says can be changed for $0.00, after you click in, goes through some mathematical calculation which ends up being like 2k euro to change the return leg.

I know these are great deals, but does anyone have any suggestions whats the best way to re-book and change the return flight or should i just suck it up. Europe twice per years sounds awesome.

Fares ex Australia are really expensive at the moment. I would expect some competition to come in to play between now and the end of the year as more transit points open up and airlines move to larger planes. maybe the prices will come down a bit between now and the end of the year?

I was very fortunate to bag an one way to Europe via Qantas FF before Emirates raised the fees/taxes. Therefore needed a way home, and the Singapore deal was too good to miss, as it was cheaper than one way prem eco back home!.
Now just need to sort out the remaining flight. Good bunch of Kris flyer points as well for the flight

I’m also grappling with the same problem. I want to change my return flight from mid-July, but when I choose a day with a $0.00 additional fee, it then turns into an additional 2k or so at the confirmation stage. This is for an economy ticket too! To book a new return flight is cheaper. So much for “complimentary changes”. I’m never falling for that again.
