Hi all,

I remember reading something regarding this subject on this forum about 4 years ago but my search-fu is failing me terribly at present.

A member of this most excellent forum was talking about Air New Zealand offering the ability to credit status earn to one loyalty program and redeemable points/miles to another, and detailed the specific fields that an airline would need to populate for the crediting of each of these quantities.

I'm hoping that I didn't just imagine reading this, as I'm in a situation where this form of crediting would be ideal - I hold MVP Gold status with AS and want to take advantage of the 300% miles earn for an SQ itinerary whilst shoving the Status Credits toward my Velocity account to maintain Platinum status.

As always, thanks to all who read my ramblings and reply.

I've heard about this before on UA reservations. Does anyone know if VA can do this?
