Spice bar at Melbourne Qantas Domestic Business Lounge

Yesterday the menu was vegetarian or chicken kimchi fried rice. Rice itself was okay, but became very good once I added extra chilli and kimchi from the side bar. Egg was cooked well and had a runny yolk.

What was even more impressive, was the plates being handed out and on the counter, of salmon crudo sashimi. These were very fresh and quite tasty, though I added soy sauce.

Overall the best domestic lounge food I've ever had.

Kimchi fried rice topped with a fried egg, available with or without chicken and chilli sauce.

The menu description says it includes Asian greens. As you can see, they really just meant the spring onions.

Neverthless, quite tasty indeed. Bonus marks for the soft runny egg yolk.

They did have the asian greens when I went, I think it was chopped up bok choy. Maybe they ran out or forgot the day you went.

You can see it in my photo a little bit above.
