Lovely to see it all green and lushOur last stop was Sew and Sew Wines but by this point I was a bit wined out so instead I got a beer from the nearby Penny Red Beer Co while the others did a tasting.

Yes the area was quite green. The tour guide said that they are in what he calls a green drought. They’ve had enough winter rain to green things up but are still technically in drought.Lovely to see it all green and lush
That is the understatement of the year. The weather is cough today. SorryEarly 5:00am start this morning (Tuesday) for our Kangaroo Island trip. The weather’s not looking too promising though![]()

Nope. It isn't.We really enjoyed a trip to the McLaren Vale wineries, a bit more low key than the Barossa.
Your food pictures looked yummy.
I hope the weather improves for you today.
Thanks @ellen10. We do a Barossa tour tomorrow so it will be interesting to compare. We really enjoyed a trip to the McLaren Vale wineries, a bit more low key than the Barossa.

It is blowing a gale in Adelaide today. Quite unusual for this time of the year.Lucky we went to KI yesterday. All the morning sailings have been cancelled today due to strong winds and big seas.
It’s funny because I have lived in the Barossa region for the majority of life so know many involved in the industry and yet I reckon we only visit the wineries maybe once or twice every couple of years usually when friends or rellies stay with usIt is blowing a gale in Adelaide today.
