I’d have loved a demo but it was black. I don’t do blackI bought a new car a month ago and it was the same as my previous one, and the one before that too. Except this one is one version up as it’s a demonstrator and was cheaper than the new one of the base model.

The Skoda autostop reactivates very quickly, it seems to read the traffic. The Mazda istop on the other hand....I usually lightly depress the brake so it doesn't activate and I can take off as soon as possible.I’d have loved a demo but it was black. I don’t do black. But the car I bought was the one I drove for a test so
. It’s only got 100 on mileage. It’s got the Monte Carlo badging. Like current one.
But I don’t like the engine shutoff when stopped. We live in an area of busy roundabouts. Needing fast take off. I’ll be mostly disabling it

I hope the odometer is differentIt is identical in every way to my exisiting car which I love
Isn't there a little button on the console you can turn it off? It does turn on each new ignition but I've also read there's a setting in the settingsThe Skoda autostop reactivates very quickly, it seems to read the traffic. At roundabouts I need it to read the gaps! It did cause me a little panic on one roundabout near us as I couldn't accelerate as much as I'd prefer there.
That throws into the windscreen? MrP loves it. The Skoda has virtual display. Don't think it throws it to the windscreen though. On Mazda you can turn off iStop (I have left it on as I'm mainly highway travel) and also 'lane assist'. I turn that off.
New car has heads up display. Didn't like it at first, but gotten used to it.
Just wear polaroid sunglasses and you can't see the HUD.On Mazda you can turn off iStop (I have left it on as I'm mainly highway travel) and also 'lane assist'. I turn that off.

I just bought a new car. It is identical in every way to my exisiting car which I love. But 10 years younger so all the modern stuff like rear view cameras and AirPlay. Collect it next Thursday. I’m changing the plates over also as I own them.
What would I do with a tow bar except jackknife the trailer.Did you order a tow bar? It has been over 12 months for us and they still can't get the loom to talk to the C-BUS, they have had a Skoda with an issue for over 18 months.
Our VW loom works all the trailer lights, but throws out a warning light when connected. VW, Skoda, Audi, Seat and others all part of VAG/
Most Chinese cars do the same, including limiting the use of cruise control with a trailer connected and speed limiting to 100Vag group cars monitor for a trailer connection and change the vehicle management parameters when a trailer is connected .
Changes include engine management ,transmission management , safety features and camera's….
