So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

So how many kms on the clock do you guys turn over your personal vehicle's?
250k pushing it or higher?

just gone over 70k on our 2007 Rav4 and 72k on our 2014 Subaru Outback Diesel, we don't drive that much :)

not exactly the daily driver but is the car my brother and i are driving from adelaide to cairns via the oodnadatta and plenty highway next year in a rally

Did several of these ralies for a similar charity a few years ago and it's
the best fun I have ever had sitting down.
You will enjoy !!!
Maybe some AFFers would like to help with sponsorship - I'll kick it off
With $100 if you let me know where to send it.

I didn't put it up in the expectation of donations as i was expecting to fully fund my half myself , but on the basis of it is a cancer council approved fundraiser heres the link to "Team Jude"

**** LINK REMOVED ****

Mods if it s inappropriate let me know and i'll take it down!

If we get to a reasonable amount i'll stick an AFF sticker on it!
Failing that i will etch all of the names on in texta!

Thanks Tiredoldflyer !!

No.. But I'd like to..:)
If only they made the noise..

Oh gawd... - for such a young person you are so traditional Uppy  (Holden parts bin rattling sounds rising to a crescendo in the background...) :p:p:mrgreen:.

(Please, peeps, do not do anything to discourage cove from his deep longing to obtain a Tesla S P100D! I'm sucking hard for him showing me ludicrous in it ).

Could give you a test run JohnM up Santa Monica Boulevard in ludicrous mode.....now that would be scary with or without the noise app as that road is in disarray but at speed you could fly over those pot holes.
I think there are now 4 Teslas in our parking lot in Marina del Rey and our local Ralph's supermarket has charging stations now.

Used launch control in my M135i for the first time today... not sure those rear tyres will last.. hehe

In other news, next time it's in the mechanics it's getting a wee ECU tune. Should make it just that little bit quicker.

Up until 3 days ago, I've been driving a 2008 Nissan Xtrail T31.

Car is 99% useless from a back ender.

Anyone have suggestions for a new car with a very large boot and great towing?

Mitsubishi Pajero / Pajero sport I've been looking at so far.

I did a driver training (and skidpan) day today. Was excellent although my car a little under-powered compared to some!

I have a Pajero and find that the boot is not all that big. Of course if you lay the seats down it is impressive.

Prado looks like it has a bit more space.

I haven't towed anything of note with my car, so can't advise first hand. They do seem popular towing vehicles, though. Great auto transmission.

In that 4x4 range, my top pick is always either the full size Landcruiser or the Landcruiser Prado. Toyota make TOP cars.
