So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

lets see the shiney ones get up here IMG_1852.jpg

Although i like the back of mine as well ,Jessicatam the lavazza12v espresso machine is in that right drawerIMG_1925.jpgAnd teh IPAD? was watching the footy in birdsville caravan park :)

We have a 2013 Touareg with the 180TDI motor - pulls like a train given the weight of the car!

I also have a 2011 X1 with the 2L TDI - does <5l/100 on the freeway. Handy fuel bill as a commuter car (200km/day) having come out of a VF SSV Redline......

A friend of mine in Sydney collects rare vehicles, some rare in Australia, some just rare.
He purchased a warehouse in which to store them but I shan't disclose the location.
Among the most rare, he has a Mazda Roadpacer which is a Holden HJ or HX Premier with a 13B Rotary engine. These engineless cars were shipped to Mazda where the Rorary was fitted. Only 800 were sold.
The Kombi pictured (one of 3 split screen units he owns) is rare because of the curved rear 1/4 screen, otherwise known as a 15 window Kombi. I have seen these going for US$250,000 plus!!

The 4 series rear end is definitely polarising. That's why the M3 is such a beautiful car, 4 series front end and 3 series rear!
TTS is only in the running due to its performance and virtual dash but the C coupe is a daily car that would be easier to live with. I'm definitely leaning more towards the C.
Enjoy the new 330i, you can't go wrong with an F30 (although I'm sure E90, E36 and E46 purists will say otherwise. ;)

M135i has already got to be a pretty quick whip! How much more will a tune give you? M2 territory power and performance wise???

It goes well but you know you always want more! Will take it to around 285kw I believe. Wouldn't be too far behind the M2 but no LSD (I don't want to pay $7k for one) - In saying that the M2 is looking like a great next car.

Love the split Kombis. I've had post-split Kombis that were sold a couple of years ago. The second one I actually made money on it. Was good fun when I was single and not working as much!

Ahh, Big Red.

I have a Lavazza as well. The looks of disdain from fellow campers are quickly replaced with envy when they see the finished product. :D

I am probably more of a frequent driver than a frequent flyer (so perhaps I am on the wrong forum!) I have a few cars. As my username implies, I have a Corvette (1988 convertible), I also have a series 3 RX-7 (which was a 50th birthday present from my wife), a 1980 Escort Van that has been in the family since new, a Chrysler 6.4L 300 SRT, one of the new V8 Mustangs and 3 shopping trolleys for the family to use. Unfortunately, my wife has said no more cars until I get rid of one.

Hey there everyone, I am NOT a "car person" as such but I get to drive lots of vehicles (except luxury ones). Probably have driven 5 different cars per month now for years. In Colombia I work out in the bush and I drive a Ford Ranger dual-cab utility. Not sexy, and it has caused me a few problems, but it has taken me up mountains where motorcycles can't get to. Love the vehicle. (mainly due to what we have been through together)

Back at home base my wife drives a VW Passat wagon - actually a very pleasant thing to get around in. Great family wagon.

I rent vehicles each time I get back to the homeland, mainly for the drive from BNE airport to the Sunshine Coast (and back again) and usually end up with a Commodore SV6. Very pleasant.

In yesteryear whilst working with the Qld Police I got to hoon around in a variety of Commodores, Falcons, and then Camrys (yuck), which were all comfortable, and the ability to have pretty blue lights running was amazing.

And prior to that, I used to get around at work in the old Unimog trucks, painted green, that could go anywhere. Actually very easy to drive.

But apart from my +1 and her love of the Passat, I have only ever believed there was one true Australian vehicle for an Australian family. Over there I only ever owned Falcon wagons. Used those for years.

But now I am getting in that phase of "mid life crisis" and could enjoy a muscle car.

Pitiful :)

Oh. I have driven a V8 Charger with blue light flashing and siren blaring. We had to reach 100 mph on the open road to pass pursuit exam. Ex Police. ;)

I'm in the same situation, cars have to go and projects have to be completed before contemplating buying anything else, says swmbo.........

So how many kms on the clock do you guys turn over your personal vehicle's?
250k pushing it or higher?
