Pretty tight connection today. Land in SYD at 5:25pm and depart at 6:10pm.

Would have been good mate. I was thinking about fly ahead, but I much prefer the MEL lounge over SYD. I'll be doing an OOL-SYD-OOL run on Sat 22 Mar. We could catch up then if that works...

I'm doing SYD-CNS-BNE-SYD on the 22nd . Leave SYD on VA1413 @ 8.45 , back in SYD at 19.35.

Well a great start to the status run today with an upgrade to J on SYD - MEL . This is most welcome after the mad dash home to retrieve my wallet .. Doh ! The benefit of living 10 mins from the airport .

Aye! Most of my SC's for this years requal have fallen in the last 4 months and I was going to get most of next years gold requal in oct/nov things have lined up well, I'm just getting my head around DL and VX runs to maximizes earn on planned flying in the US.

Unless something drastic happens at work however, I doubt I'll retain WP and appreciate the aft landing back to SG

On the weekend I went to Cairns from Brisbane. All SC's, including the doubles posted the day after each flight. Much faster than Qantas.

Just completed a business trip Coolangatta to Canberra return and am now GOLD courtesy of the double points. Just in time to upgrade some flexi seats to USA

Last SC run for me tomorrow (Sat) . SYD-CNS-BNE-SYD , that will requal me GOLD for another 12 months . It was only 3 months ago , i didn't think i had a hope in hell of requaling GOLD again ....thank god for the DSC promo . Will be in the CNS lounge from 11-12.45 & BNE Lounge from 3-5pm if anyone is passing through or wants to drop by for a catchup & a bevvie or 2 .
