Hi all,

I'm travelling MH later this month in Y, HKG-KUL-DRW. I'm QFF Gold / OW Sapphire.

I'll arrive in KUL around 0015 hours with my DRW leg not until 2030 hours. I can presumably argue 'same day' access to the lounge (?) but my main query is can I access the slumber rooms or are they part of the F lounge?

Cheers,

CD

Slumber rooms are part of the F lounge but there are some banana lounge type chairs individually separated by curtains in the main lounge

Aside from the sleeping pods, the table service restaurant in the F Lounge is quite good actually.

Last train leaves at 1AM, I would definitely hit town for 20 hours. Try the Double Tree which is a short hop on the LRT from Sentral and only 10K rewards points.

Thanks Markis. Doubletree has no spots available for this particular night so I may just head for the actual Hilton in town.

Hmm word is getting around! The Aloft is not bad either opposite the Hilton usually under RM300

Pricing for both is quite similar - only about $10 AUD difference between the Hilton and Aloft, so will probably go with the Hilton. In other news, my PNR doesn't work with the MMB on MH's website. Will have to ring later this week to sort it out I guess.

I used the slumber rooms twice last week. I've transited KLIA 5 or 6 times this year, was thinking of writing a TR on MH F.

Also finally took a look at the Aloft during the F1 (admittedly I had no idea the F1 was on...) using it as a day room. Hilton & Meri are slightly better placed and I'm still not convinced by the Aloft concept (more of a W person). IF the prices are the same then definitely the Hilton for me unless you have SPG reasons.

MH MMB has not worked for a single PNR, also says to call up. Since the RGN fares the hint has always been to use the flymas.mobi if you want to check anything basic.

As for the original question, with that transit time definitely get out the airport! Protip: KLIA Ekspres tickets can be purchased onboard and earn enrich points if you're interested.

Cheers for the flymobi tip Joshua, appreciate that! Have booked a ticket for the KLIA express online. Will ring at T-48 to secure seats.
