Just wondering if anyone was going to be attending CeBit this year? Could be a nice meetup place for many AFF members.

If you need entry for $0, I can help you out with that

I'll be there. Not sure what day yet though.

Trade show for us IT geeks.... Hardware, Software and Telecommunications.

I'd like to, but don't think i will be in the right city at the time

I'd like to except that I'm not free from my normal routine on those dates!

If I could go I wouldn't care less anyway. The entry is $25 or less. That's peanuts compared to exhibitions of other professions (e.g. Engineering - damn >$500 admission).

I'm planning to be there, registered online ages ago.

Would of course much more prefer to go to Hanover.

BTW, are you an exhibitor Flashware? Any particular day you'll be there?

Awesome, *adds you to the list* - looks like I'll finally get to meetup with some fellow AFFers :)

And, all going well.. we could very well be headed to Hannover next year!

I am exhibiting, but PM me for the Company name/stand number - otherwise everyone may think I'm spamming

Edit: oh, and yep - I'll be there every day. I actually get into SYD on Apr 28, and then fly back to PER on May 4.

Thanks to serfty for dropping by the DataMate stand last night - had a few ales after, which certainly helped with getting to sleep after a long day ;)

My apolgies for not catching up.

I was there yesterday. Caught up with a few vendors then was out of there.

I got good business value as I was specifically loooking for some new CRM/ERP enterprise software.

Now, how many AFFs tried out for a telephone condom?

I thought that the gratuitious display of female flesh and short shorts at the show was in contrast to the many geeky visitors whom find the flesh and shorts intimidating.

I certainly found the two ladies in the police style uniforms particularly intimidating, especially their display of handcuffs.

Tongue in check of course.

I went to CeBIT on Tuesday and as a non-techie found it quite dissapointing. I was hoping to see Blackberry/RIM and the new Motorola Q gsm, but it was definitely not prosumer territory.

There was a single PS3 at the Sony stand, which was the most interesting thing there.

Geee, I "accidently" walked straight past that stand a few times today :p

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
