It’s already unbundled.

Only 1 meal service on a 7 hour business class flight from SIN to BNE

Singapore would be following Emirates, Finnair and Qatar if they take the jump into unbundling business fares.

Why quote from this publication?

IIRC, it's been discourteous to Mattg and 'AFF' in the past. Perhaps time heals all wounds, but I've not read anything to suggest that's occurred.

Was looking at booking paid J class to SIN in the last couple of days. It gives you the choice of 3 fares lite, saver and full J with differing prices, points earned and cancellation policy. so is basically unbundled now.

Yeah… some of their late evening and midnight flights only have one meal… although that’s been around for many years. The daytime SIN-BNE does have tow services… a main and refreshment.

I remember one of the 2nd meal services some years back was the CSM offering a biscuit from a tray of Arnotts assorted. They were going though a rough patch in their catering at the time. It was dreadful. Grouper Soup for breakfast anyone? The other choices were pretty bad as well. 6 months later they were back to normal.
