We have a Singapore Air booking arranged via a travel agent through Viking Air, we are flying Premier Economy Syd/Sing/Amsterdam on 4/7/2022 I can't match up my name & Kris Flyer membership number. There seems to be a difference in the way my surname shows on my tix & the membership account. I have a hyphenated last name & enrolled with surname with a space between the 2 names (dropped the hyphen & left a space as per enrolment instructions) My tix show as this, Kris Flyer member card shows as one long name. I go to add my member number to booking & cannot as "name & number do not match" I've tried few times to discuss with Singapore Air, no avail "you need to speak with Kris Flyer, I'll get someone to talk with you" Still waiting. I've requested travel agent to include, they say I need to wait 'till I return, keep boarding passes & make late claim. Can anyone make any other suggestions please ?
Another hiccup is with selecting seats, this was never completed in time to get seats we wanted. We are not allocated seating from Frankfurt to Singapore on return journey, 23/7/2022 Travel agent assures me that this is all OK & that we will be looked after & will get seats,in meantime,. "you can check online to see if any availability for you to select. Extra legroom seats available but you will pay extra" What have I booked Premium Economy for ? Booking does show all legs of trip as status confirmed.This has left a sour taste in my mouth. Singapore Air says I need to talk with travel agent, travel agent says all done through Viking Air & it is what it is & to keep checking. Finished my rant.
