ones too?
Granted that not a lot of QF flights leave from CHC to Au, the Manaia Club is 9/10.
2pm CHC time, and the food isn't all that much, filling, but compared to SYD QPi, wooch!
Good for the food, and the ambience, but for those who live in CHC and are members of the QP at equiv of Aud$855 for start (first year), UNLESS you can get it for less via work, or via AFF.
maybe its better to have food outside the ML.
Anyway, ok, thats it from me for now.

What do you mean?

My interpretation is that there is a thread where people rate the perceived 'quality' of local and international QF and partner Lounges.

If there was then the criteria on which they were rated then it would need to be fairly clearly defined as people's expectations and standards vary considerably.

I've missed something in the translation. No idea at all what this topic means.

I have re-interpreted the original heading: "Should we have a raing system as a Sticky for the QP in Aust & overseas? Related... one's too [sic]"

If you are talking about rating QP's (or QF lounges) in airports around Australia and the world, I don't honestly see the point. In every location that I can think of, QF offers 1 lounge option for that class / status level in selected terminals.

For example, take SYD, QF have 4 lounges there, however unless you are flying out of T1, you can't access the JLounge / FLounges there, you can only access T3. Likewise if you are flying out of T1, you probably won't go to the lounges in T3.

Furthermore it's not like CX at HKG, where there are multiple lounge options, if you are a WP or J flyer out of SYD T3, you are probably going to go to the JLounge by default, if you are a SG or QP member, you have no choice but to go to the QP (or seat out in the main terminal).

The above holds true for MEL, BNE, CBR, PER (aka the other locations where QF operates multiple lounges).

To follow on, lets say the rating is out of 5, if MEL QP was given a 3, but BNE QP was given a 5, that's hardly going to change my plans if MEL is where I needed to be.

Nice idea, but I can't see any practical use, at least not for just QF.

Gosh, what I do need to be drinking to understand the OP?

Everyone has different criteria on personal lounge ratings.

Personally I see little value in having such a thread due to the subjective nature of the assessments.

OT: mods, can a sticky be unstuck? I wonder whether the "best status runs" sticky should be enhanced (read: replaced) by a best status runs post July 1st, 2014 sticky. It might be a good challenge for some members to identify the best runs in the enhanced era. The simplified points tables created by members in other threads might be sufficient, but just a thought.

Given how repetitive Qantas Clubs can be I highly doubt that this thread will be of good use to the community. That is, unless of course, if you were rating the lounge with regards to the dress sense of users and the general ambience of the lounge of which I'm not going to delve further. Cause simply I foresee that thread go on a downward spiral with regards to the dress sense, classiness, morals and etiquette of lounge uses of which we have gloriously seen in the not-so-recent past. ;)

Not to mention the "Whaddya mean you gave it a four?" sort of discussion.
