Should my JQ seat numbers show on CheckMyTrip?

When I login to www.checkmytrip.com to verify my upcoming itinerary, my JQ flight is showing no seat numbers assigned. My QF flight is showing seat numbers. I asked my TA to double-check that the seat numbers are in the booking and she said that they are. Should I be worried that JQ doesn't have/know about my seat numbers or is this just a quirk, perhaps to do with the way checkmytrip treats JQ flights?

I thought JQ's booking system wasn't compatible with CMY. It's not Amadeus or something?

You should be able to check your JQ details on JQ's website.

Ahhh. I'm such a JQ newbie - I didn't even consider that they had such a facility. Yep, it's all there and the seat numbers are good. Thanks!

Yep, as samh004 alluded to; they don't use Amadeus which is why it will not show up on CMT.

'tis a quirk, whereby QF will only know about flights either side of your QF flight, but won't know the details.

(from a data privacy perspective, of course, all they need to know is that you are on a Jetstar flight before or after your QF one. They don't need to know any of the other service details)

hi

while on the subject of JQ bookings, I have a number of JQ asian flights coming up soon but do not see these in 'your bookings' area of my account on the QFF website - should I be seeing them? or are they not linked up? - made all bookings online not via a agent.

thx

They show if you have a QF flight in your itinerary either side of the JQ/3K flight.

Ahh, wasn't aware of that, thx Oz_Mark, I don't have any QF flights either side hence not showing up.

last question, while travelling JQ and a WP would I have access to Cathay Lounges in KL?

cheers

No as you're not on a oneworld flight.
