Should Jetstar refit its A321LR fleet and install Business Class for Asian offerings?

Some discussion over on airliners.net about who might pickup the 131 Spirit aircraft that are gradually being reclaimed by lessors - a mix of 320 and 321 ceo and neos - and flown to the desert.

Due to the lengthy wait for seats it's viewed that foreign LCCs who can use them immediately are more likely than US airlines.

Spirit fairly uniquely operated with two rows of up-front business seats, but otherwise the usual LCC 28-29" pitch.

The Spirit neos used the P&W GTF so may not fit into the JQ fleet as easily as the ceos.

QF already picked up 9 ex Spirit A319s which is all the A319s they operate in WA. I can't see JQ picking up any more CEOs but maybe QF might. The A321s neos also don't quite line up with JQs fleet given we're talking LR vs non LR aircraft.

Oh dear, I am taking this flight next week. Was already dreading an overnight narrowbody flight on JQ, might have to pack a sweatshirt in my carron to sit on for comfort. Have booked my hotel for the night before so I can check in and have a room available when I arrive in the morning. Wish me luck!
Yes, good idea on both the sweatshirt and booking the room from the night before. It was a huge help for us to be able to check in straightaway and rest. And I was definitely wishing I'd brought something soft to sit on! Good luck indeed!
