Just got back from Europe. Noticed increased security around French embassies and synagogues but that was about it. Only saw some refugees getting moved in Athens, and that was just because the Uber driver pointed it out.

While Rehman was responsible for creating the bomb, his wife funded his exploits and bought the chemicals.

If detonated on the London Underground, the bomb they were preparing "would have caused multiple fatalities,"

"The intention to carry out some form of terrorism attack was Clear.

"The pair had been very close to carrying out an attack. All they required was to purchase the chemicals to make a detonator.

"There is little doubt that, had Rehman and Ahmed Khan not been stopped when they were, they would have attempted to carry out an act of terrorism in London."

I cannot believe it ......look at those faces there is not much to tell you about there nefarious intents ......,so so lucky

Munich police say they have credible information about an impending terrorist attack and have evacuated two railway stations, NPR's Soraya Sarhaddi Nelson reports.

The warning, posted on the official Munich Police Twitter account, also advised people to avoid gathering at the central train station or at Pasing train station.

Soraya says no trains are being allowed to approach the two stations.

This comes during New Year's Eve celebrations. The police gave this warning less than an hour before midnight Munich local time.

Avoid crowds in Munich for safeties sake

Interesting thread marki. New Years in Amsterdam and felt very safe. Was in Paris just before the killings and again a few days ago. A lot more army patrolling the streets and on guard at tourist spots. Still felt safe there.

Brussels had to cancel NYE. A cautionary tale for the consequences of open borders and multiculturalism.

Left BUD on the 30th Dec and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
Moved on to VIE and so far no issues of any kind.

Been in Europe for the last month and everything is per normal. However a lot more armed/military guys in many cities. I'm not sure what was going on in Madrid but pretty much every corner had an army patrol as well as national police, and local police. Also a few little changes - for example armed military guards/metal detectors at places like the Duomo in Mila.

The article goes on to say that 90 women had reported assaults in Cologne. Germany's 4 largest city. 25% of these were of a sexual nature. There were also assaults in Stuttgart and Hamberg. They are saying that it has never happened in such a form before. The women reported small groups of men attacking them when celebrating the new year in front of the main train station shooting off fireworks.

Women were allegedly cornered by groups of 20 to 30 men, mugged and in some cases sexually assaulted. One woman filed a complaint against an unknown assailant for rape, police officials said. You can feel from the descriptions people are giving out....
numerous witnesses and police described the alleged attackers as appearing to be from the “Arab or North African area,” according to Cologne police chief Wolfgang Albers. That description inflamed the continuing debate about the risks of migration changing the face of Germany.
At least one million migrants entered Germany last year, sparking public concerns about how the country would be able to integrate them and official warnings of a risk that criminals or extremists could be among the migrants.

The violence is “the consequence of an uncontrolled migration,” Frauke Petry, head of the extreme right party Alternative for Germany, told a Cologne newspaper.

Angela Merkl has said “Everything must be done to track the attackers and punish them regardless of their origin or background,” the chancellor told the Cologne mayor in a phone call Tuesday.

Public unease is growing in Germany ....“Even if some men are used to something different in their home countries: In our country men and woman are equal and share the same rights,” Julia Klöckner, deputy chairwoman of Ms. Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union told a German weekly. Ms. Klöckner has called for a law to oblige migrants to commit to integrate once in Germany.

These kind of reports in the German press having been very high but it is the first time seeing it the Wall Street Journal.

For those that doubted this would have an effect on Europe please take another look. These are real big numbers .....
“That such a big number of people, apparently with migration background, appear to have committed these attacks represents a new dimension,” said Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière. “But this mustn’t lead to putting refugees who seek protection in our country under a general suspicion.”

Hamburg police also said they were investigating 10 cases in which young women were sexually assaulted on New Year’s Eve and later discovered that their purses, money or cellphones had been taken from them.

In Stuttgart, a group of 15 men molested two 18-year-olds in a park, also stealing their phones, police said. In both cities the men were described as being of Middle Eastern origin.

This is a warning

Yes! the type of uncontrolled migration that Europe hasn't seen for almost 8000yrs.
