Might sound ridiculous to some, but have been wondering about shipping one of my old TVs next time I fly.

I've done this with other electronic stuff packed in their original boxes with 'fragile' stickers without issue...

The box only weighs 16kg and is just long and slim. I would imagine it would be smaller than most of the checked sporting items.

Just wondering if you've heard of doing this before?

I have done it successfully with a large LCD monitor
