Does anyone have any good methods / contacts that may help me get my situation reviewed with a decent refund or an upgrade on my change of flights as I feel completely shafted by Qantas?

I pre booked a couple of PE flights with Qantas MEL-SIN-FRA return last year however with the new Emirates merger and the fact that the Qantas SIN-FRA is a loss maker I have been punted via DXB with Emirates. The kicker being I have been down graded to Y for the DXB-FRA leg.

I have chatted to both Customer Care & QFF but they seem to have the attitude Too Bad, So Sad.

Any help as it is too late to go with another carrier?

Hi and sorry to hear about you being messed around how long ago did you book and when were you advised of the changes as Qantas promised to contact everyone and to make suitable alternatives with them.

What is your Frequent Flyer status with QF or OW?

When are you scheduled to fly

Im sure as a minimum you would have been entitled to a partial refund for the downgrade and or a full one if not happy with the changes over all.

I would hope that Red Roo the QF rep on here would contact you

Good luck

Did they offer sending you via LHR, adding hassle but minimising the economy travel to LHR-FRA.

Awesome.

Jsitc may need a PM from you, however, due to being a brand-spanking newbie.

Hi Ansett,

I Booked the 2 trips back in Dec 2012 and are scheduled to fly in July & October respectively.

I am a gold QFF and was hoping these two trips and a couple more side trips to PVG would get me to WP. But we will see

Red Roo has been in touch so I am looking forward to see if anything better can be done

Appreciate your comments!

Not directly but I have heard this is possibly another option to go via LHR. Adds a few more hours on to the trip

Hi Red Roo,

I have sent you a message via Straitman since I am a Noobie and cant send mails as yet.
