Yup! Did this last year (with a 39 hour visit to Dubai, just about long enough).simongr said:Just a quick one - I assume that as the LHR-DXB-LHR flight is a 777 that its clubworld rather than clubeurope?
Seems that did the trick. Not sure whether all of your questions were answered before the thread was hijacked (but did like your early realisation that it might be, coolumbla).Lindsay Wilson said:It seems that this thread is hidden in a little used area of AFF - I'll move it to give it the attention it deserves from experts better than me.
WP is shorthand for "wanker platinum", which is the joke term for QFF Platinum status. By the sound of your trip, you should just about qualify as a WP by the end, which will certainly make your lounge issues go awaycoolumbla said:I've finally got what a done 4 and 5 is but WP has got me

It can take a while to pick them all up. I still can't understand all the airline and airport abbreviationscoolumbla said:duhhhhhhhh!!!!! sound of hand hitting forehead

Just be careful. My kids now think that a trip to the airport also includes a visit to the Qantas Club and associated copious quantities of softdrinks and nibbles. They expect this whether dropping me off or picking someone up from the airport. See what monsters we are creating for the next generation  . Oh well, it won't be my problem, so long as Qantas retain their current Lifetime Status levels.coolumbla said:although the partner gold would be useful for "she who must' who is going to Singapore while i and the kids go skiing
That would be she who stated "why do you have this wanky thing" in reference to my associated qantas club memebership but who seems to like it when she gets to go in there.
