So we want to go the Seychelles next year - I am looking at a KF *A award as follows:-

SYD-SIN-CPT (on SQ) open-jaw SEZ-IST (on TK)-SIN-SYD on SQ

It seems to me this should be a *A return trip South Pacific-Southern Africa for 156,000 pp in J.

Unfortunately I cannot find the Seychelles in the region definitions for *A awards but I am assuming it is Middle East/North Africa. So the only issue could be the routing home via IST (as it's hardly the most direct route). As I understand *A return awards one one-jaw is permitted as well as a stop-over but I don't have any stopovers planned.

(There is another *A option on the return involving ET via ADD which I definitely want to avoid).

Thanks for any insight into this.

One more thought - this could also be 2 one-way awards of course if that make any difference.

Seychelles is part of the Central, South Africa zone.

To be honest, I doubt routing SEZ-IST-SIN-SYD would be allowed (due to backtracking). But you could always call SQ and ask.

Yes - you may be correct - I did not want to call SQ until the booking window opened for my dates as these calls can be very laborious if get a less experienced agent.

By backup plan is to either use LifeMiles or SQ for just SEZ-IST (then SQ for IST-SYD) or buy an Air Seychelles ticket SEZ-JNB so either way I've got it covered. I'll post back once I make the booking.
