Separating points and credits when transferring

Hi group, I am hoping someone can answer my question please.

I am FIFO and currently flying 2 domestic flights (Virgin) and 2 International flights (Singapore Airlines) every 4 weeks. When I started at my current site, Virgin matched my QANTAS Gold with theirs which gave me SIA partnership status and I have been nominating my Velocity FF number with both to get status credits to Velocity Platinum Status quicker, but I am getting smashed with my FF points conversion, especially considering if I want to use them for international flights later and have to transfer them back.
Can anyone tell me if I can transfer Krisflyer status credits without transferring their miles which decreases the time to get to Platinum and use each airlines points/miles for their own flights?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Regards
Mark

You can't transfer Status Credits, ever. You can use Velocity points for SQ flight redemptions without transferring points to SQ when you book via Virgin. But with 2 international SQ flights every 4 weeks, why aren't you crediting to SQ?
