Give it a go. Head to Transfer C on arrival and see the staff assigned to QF. Ask for boarding pass and for your baggage to be transfer and show your baggage receipt.Does anyone know if this works for a BA flight from BRU to SIN then QF flight SIN to SYD? Can you use the transit services to remain airside?
Between noon and 9 pm:3) will Jewel be an option
1) I think the interline chance increases if transfer point is SINinsights from the AFF brains trust on
Mrsandye is flying SYD-SIN Y on SQ followed by SIN-DOH-LGW J on QR with separate PNRs this week (5+hour between)
Any insights from the AFF brains trust on
1) any chance SQ will interline
I thought SYD checkin was SQ?Ps: The QR check-in agent in SYD didn't sound like she was familiar with interlining on separate tickets
Correct. My badI thought SYD checkin was SQ?
check-in agent in SYD didn't sound like she was familiar with interlining on separate tickets. She offered to find out (neighbouring agent thought it could be done but wasn't sure).

Just as another data point - I did exactly this a couple of weeks ago as well (except QF to Perth). Very quick and easy processJust had great success with a self-transfer at SIN between un-connected itineraries.
Flew QR via DOH to SIN, then am on QF tonight on another booking to SYD
Went to transfer desk C and asked if it was possible, provided passport and QR bag tags. Two minutes of vigorous typing and swiping of passport and was handed paper QF boarding pass, QF baggage receipt and informed bags will be rerouted to Sydney.
Meant my 5hr layover is now enjoyed in the lounges rather than having to clear immigration, get bags, wait for check in to open etc etc. As long as my bags show up in Sydney, I’ll be very happy!
