Second Test, Australia v England, 4-8 December 2025

Just can't see the multimillions in value IPL paid for Green. apart from being able to cover two slip positions, what else is he good for? Innocuous bowing and brian fade batting yesterday.

Alex Carey tickled one behind and the keeper juggled it but didn’t drop it.

8/416 with a lead of 82. I was hoping for 100, so still on track

Pleased with my decision to stump up the extra $10 to get Kayo Premium when chasing status credits last month.

The 4K feed from the Gabba looks rather good I must say.

Wow what a great session. Strategic batting by Australia to keep the English out there for as long as they can to wear them out.

8-450 at lunch, Starc on 46.

Then the famous people start walking past and being interviewed in front of us:

Ian “Beefy” Botham almost went past before I could get my phone out.

Mel McLaughlin is back

Wrt: admire your enthusiasm but as someone watching in delay, more food and less BBB descriptions would be preferred. :) :)
Not much food left to post as we’re not dining today, but if you’re interested we went to Fishbowl in the CBD (Cnr Adelaide & Creek Streets) and had lunch - vegetarian bowls. @Ade will like these.

Well a great batting display by the tail. Dogget rewarded with a world record- highest scorer of the lowest scorer in an innings.
Also almost certainly the highest partnership by indigenous Auspicious in a test match.

My two guests are both vegans. It smelt so good on Day 1 that I wanted to try it tonight. Was delicious. We now have 5 days of eating vegan food as we go up to Bundaberg with them.

Michael Neser on 🔥- two wickets, both caught and bowled. My 3 for 0 prediction for the end of tonight, said to my wife and friends, is looking pretty close
