Seats.aero - a useful tool for finding Qantas & Velocity reward availability

Recently got an alert, was only 1 seat available and I need 2. Until that seat is taken I can't set up a new alert for that date.
you need the paid version, you can specify how many seats you want when setting up an alert

Air Canada recently changed their back end in an attempt to break all award search tools.
I mean it's still showing up just no longer with seat counts. Unlike eg Avianca lifemiles. Wouldn't have thought a login requirement stumped him.

Just a data point for anyone who's sitting on the fence about a seats.aero sub:

I want to report a recent success using seats.aero to book a non-flexi QR redemption in J over Christmas 2025 from DUB to ADL. I am a big fan of Privilege Club given the great availability and low points cost out of Australia compared to QFF and Velocity. The main downside is QR usually only release flexi seats around Christmas: I lucked out two years ago by randomly checking the QR website every few weeks and stumbling across one from EDI to PER.

On this occasion no need for me to devote my time to such endeavours. I set an alert on Velocity for my dates (I figured that QR seats that showed up on Velocity would only be of the non-flexi type) 8 months ago and was rewarded today. I got the text alert for availability on Velocity and then checked the QR website to see availability there too:

Velocity: 158,500 points + 730AUD
Privilege Club: 108000 points + 500AUD

No prizes for which program I picked. :D Christmas in Q-Suites: the miracle of seats.aero.

@SeatsIan love your work! Thank you for making the DUB - ADL route searchable on Velocity/Qantas/Aeroplan last year!!! Any chance I could persuade you to update it to add Privilege Club too? 😉
