Hi, Is it just my 3 PC's at home but I cannot get onto seat counter? Is anyone else experiencing such issues?

I saw comment on the BA FT forum yesterday morning and checked.

I have not been able to access seatcounter any time I have tried in the last 25 hours (since reading that thread).

Seatcounter still down!

Have put in a points upgrade for J (or PE if J not available) for QF 128 on Mar 5. Am currently allocated 27C.

Anyone with resources kind enough to check what are my chances for the points upgrade?

Thanks!

Ric

E/F is having issues as well:
An error has occurred while communicating with the airline reservation system. The support team has been notified of this problem. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Serfty/AussieTim,

Cheers,

Unless its a 767 its going to be Skybeds. All QF 747s and International A330s have Skybeds. Only 767s have dreamtimes.

SeatCounter appears to be quite popular. The display is nice but the classes are listed in alphabetical order which can get confusing. I prefer to use the Amex Class availability tool as this has the option to include return flights in the same search.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Check your booking. Plane has now been substituted with a 4 class 747. Row 27 doesn't exist any more.

On QF127 they seem to be allocating PE seats as Economy seats. They are also apparently seating J pax in the F part of the plane.

I'm currently assigned to a seat that doesn't exist (was also in row 27) on QF127. Trying to get a real allocation, although they don't seem to want to give me a PE seat :) Ended up in an exit row.

I am being shown that I am still being assigned 27C in both Qantas and C/M/T but when I click on 27C to view the seat map, like you say, Row 27 does not exist! Y starts from 34 and shows ALL Y seats have been allocated!!
Meanwhile, Seatcounter shows 5 available in C,D, and J each and 4 each available in all the other classes!!:confused:

On Mon day night less than 12 hrs before flight, I checked seatcounter for CX 906 Mnl-Hkg and it showed availablity of 9 in all classes. Did an online check in and got an ops up when I showed up at the airport! I thought that they don't ops up when there's availablity in Y? I don't think that Y was full. 100% for this flight so far this year for ops up (4 times). CX truly is One World player!

Let's hope my upgrade request for QF 128 comes through!

Cheers!

Ric

I appear to have ended up in a PE seat with Econ service. Plane should be VH-OJT with the Qantas seat map here: http://www.qantas.com.au/infodetail/flying/inTheAir/ourAircraft/744-14P50J32PY255Y.pdf . Good luck on the upgrade. If it doesn't happen, see if they can move you into rows 34-37... :)
