Seat selection on QF / BA

I am flying to London on a QF from HK. On the same ticket, my return journey is on a BA flight -- I notice when I look up my booking on checkmytrip.com I see that I actually have a seat assignment on both legs. If I go on BA.com I see I can actually choose the seat on the return journey -- but if I go on Qantas Manage My Booking -- it doesn't show any seating information at all.

Do I actually have the seats assigned or not? Can I go somewhere on Qantas website to select seats?

You have seats assigned, QFs MMB is nowhere near as good as BAs and doesn't always give seat info. Trust checkmytrip/BA

Checkmytrip is very reliable for QF and BA

On another note... its a different story for AA and CX
(simply due to different booking systems used)
