I have booked ADL-MEL-SIN-MEL-ADL on Jetstar StarClass for the Singapore GP this year.

The last leg is supposed to be seated in business class on a QF operated flight. Of course, Jetstar's booking engine will not let me select seats on that flight. I had thought that I should be able to get a Qantas PNR to select the seat directly, but was told that Jetstar does not have a Qantas PNR for the booking and I would have to call Qantas. I have not done so yet.

Am I on the wrong track? Should I be able to manage the Qantas leg through my QFF account or 'Manage my booking'? How can I get the Qantas booking reference?

In addition, I have received the expected itinerary stating the first leg is 'JetSaver', but have been assured by the call centre that it is recorded as StarClass and will have StarClass fare rules and point/SC. I am hopeful of a good outcome, but is there anything else I should do before I fly to confirm this?

Thanks in advance
Adam

I booked StarClass ADL-MEL-SIN-KUL-SIN-MEL-ADL. I leave tomorrow on JQ777, JQ7 and 3K689. I was told I would receive "StarClass status credits" for ALL legs of the itinerary and I have this in writing. I depart tomorrow - and will be keeping an eye on what SCs are put in to my account and when. I can keep you updated!
