Seat selection on EK (QFWP)

QFWP travelling with SG, NB, NB

Have two legs on EK with QF code SIN-DXB-CDG and app keeps telling me that it has an error and try again later - it’s told me this for a month.

Is there a known issue with app / seat selection / QFF related?

Have EK blocked the ”preferred’ (forward) seating block from selection by QFWP or on a QF code?

Any insights as to how to resolve would be useful - had zero issues in past selecting eg. Row 18 on 777 or forward cabin on A380 but now unable.

QF app gives me “go to emirates”

QF website MMB gives me poorer seat selection than previously

EK site gives me “sorry we cant price this seat at the moment” error

Have EK blocked this for non-Sykwards members (even if QFF)?

Wonder if there is some issue in the booking that is causing issues (it is two legs of a booking QF-EK-EK, AY-AY-QF journey that took some ticketing…..).

I havent (yet) tried QF call centre lest it mucks the booking entirely (id rather lousy seats than no booking!).

Bumping this thread - has there been any change in policy for EK seat selection for QFWP? Or seat section availability?

Any recent expertise of QFWPs getting forward cabins seat allocations?

That possibly narrows it down to either Y class fare type, or a gremlin associated with my ticket (that QF had quite the time ticketing via the HBA call centre after totally fritzing out on the website).

Maybe i’ll try and call and see if i can get through to HBA and see if they can select.

try EK booking number in the EK app, should work assuming all ticketed
