Hey there.. 1st post (took me a while).

I finally got one of those lovely DC offers and have been pulling my head out trying to find a way to get 465 (or 1/2 with dc)..I have gone through most of the options shown on this site (including the main SC run thread), however most of what is shown as cheap(ish) options are not cheap when searching.

I have a few dates in mind, and am happy to do an overnighter or 1 day stay to suit, and was looking for some updated SC run suggestions.

The dates I may be able to do them are August 24-27 (this weekend would be awesome, but nothing cheap showing that i can see)
Sep 7-8, 19-20, Oct 6-8, 26-27 Nov 8-9 also I only currently
have 159k points on hand, my understanding is that does not get much, so am looking at something less than 2k if possible.

Trust me I did as much looking as i could on my own (a lot) before coming here to my helpful friends... but am at a loss.

heck if I can spend the same and get
1,265 (1/2 with dc) that would be even better for plat

I tried calling, however I am not too familiar with how it all works .. I did a JASA run a couple of years back when you can do it through the site, however I did a search and called and pretty much have no idea what I am doing, I think they picked up on that and they ended up just quoting me the same prices as the website (along with points + pay) which was not helpful at all.

Welcome!

I assume this is to keep Gold, by what date? If not, are you looking to Platinum? While I appreciate the DSC offer is for certain dates, if you can knock out some with DSC and the rest at another time, that'd be something. Do you have any other travel planned?

There's currently a sale on, with lots of QFLink routes on sale. If you take a look at the milk run (BNE-GLT-ROK-MKY-TSV-CNS) and are able to break the flight up to different flights numbers, you could stand to earn something decent.

Read the how to that I linked to, and then read this thread about various attempts, it should help:
