SC on EK numbered connecting services to Europe

As a gentle warning, I have just learned through experience that SC are not earned on EK numbered flights (even where the fare is identical to QF numbered flights using the same EK metal) and even where the flight is booked direct through qantas.com as one itinerary. In other words if you want to earn SC, make sure you tick the QF numbered versions of the available flights, not the EK numbered identical flight times.
