I booked an earlybird special from PER > SIN > LHR return.

It is in class O.

Can anyone confirm if this fare earns status credits in discount economy in Qantas?

just calculated i should make Gold Status just before my Qantas Club membership is due for renewal..

No discount/cheap tickets EVER earn full SC on international
(Unless its a discount BA WTP)

It does earn some status credits. It does not earn full status credits. Make sure your calculations take that into account.

Yes, there is a difference in earning between discount and full economy, however it appears that he already knew that....by indicating in his question the connection between O class, discount economy and status credits...seems he was more concerned as to whether O class earned any SC's

yes i am aware discount SC earn is 50% and have taken that into consideration when doing the calculations

i was just concered that O class may not earn SC at all!
