I'm flying SVG to CPH later this year, on a SK codeshare flight. The flight has been booked through QF, where the rest of the itinerary is a combination of QF, BA and QF on EK metal. Being QF WP, im not worried about the other flights, but I'm trying to allocate my TK FF# (or even SG doesn't matter as I only have basic status with both of them) against the SK flight. The QF site wont let me, and the SAS site wont let me either. Has anyone done such in the past?

On another note, I checked the TK M&S site, and they reckon for 15k points I can upgrade from Y>J, I have only about 13,500points, is it worth trying to get the extra points to bother for an upgrade?

Love how the post above would make no sense with all the acronyms to an AFF outsider..

Can you get into your SAS booking at all on the SAS site? If not, then the SAS PNR might be different from the others (I don't know which booking engine SAS uses). QF should be able to give you the SAS PNR and you can use that to get into your booking on the SAS site.

But if you are on the site, and it won't let you put the TK FF#, then I'm out of ideas.

I can enter the booking ref and view the full itinerary on the SAS website, but then get this message:

"It appears that you didn't book on our website. Unfortunately, we can't rebook or cancel for you. However, our colleagues at your travel agency or our call center will be happy to help you. If you booked with us, contact SAS Customer Contact Center."

Usually when there are different booking codes, it would show up on checkmytrip, but in this case, its the same booking code for all sectors. I'm sure I can add my details when I'm checking in, but the lure of an upgrade opportunity isn't one to miss - and a good way of using up the TK points that otherwise will not do anything.

I'm pretty sure that if this is a single PNR for all your flights you can only assign one FF number to it, you can't split it into individual segments and assign different FF numbers to different segments

Hmm yes the SAS website does show it as a single PNR, and it has noted the QF FF# against the booking.

Might just have to see how it transpires at check-in. Its barely an hour long flight, so the Y>J upgrade wont be missed.

Yep, don't bother upgrading as the seat is almost the same. Good Scandinavian food though in J...

If you cannot get them to add the number at check-in, or at the airport in SVG (possibly your best bet), then perhaps leaving it blank and making a retrospective claim with TK, so you at least get the miles, is the way to go.

Or to very new aff members who haven't printed a list so they can memorise all the codes!!!!

It is possible to assign different FQTV numbers to each sector in all major GDSes. You definitely won't be able to do it online and will need to call. Beware a lot of agents may not know exactly what command to use...
