Flights most likely delayed, stuck in ADL lounge. Manual check in only and apparently it's country-wide (told by the staff).

Not sure what the drinking reference is about, did I miss something? I was just about to speculate about the muffled swearing/smashing sounds from the corner office in Bowen Hills!

This is really testing my patience.

Tomorrow I'm due to fly MEL-MIM-SYD on Rex was due to overnight in Sydney but Thursday meetings have been cancelled so I'm free to fly back tomorrow night - and doing so would kill two birds with one stone (gets me a same day boarding pass for Lounge access in the morning). If only I could book a friggen ticket!

Been trying since 10:30am to book on Bangkok Airways and keep getting error message. (Funny though, Cathay and Dragonair were fine, as I booked 2 flights with them right before trying to book another with BKK Air.)

It's very busy in SYD. Lots of canx flights. Lounge is unable to manually check in or move pax, so service desk takes your name then someone runs off elsewhere to sort it out. They are paging pax by name when they get them onto a flight.

Lounge downstairs is rammed, standing room only. Not many have discovered upstairs yet - almost empty up here. It's going to be a long night for everyone me thinks...

That's because they don't use Sabre. They use the same system as Qantas; Amadeus

CBR surprisingly not too bad. Flights to SYD cancelled but being told the system is now back online. The fun will start when they try and fit 3 plane loads onto the final flight of the day (an ATR...)
