Im sorry to had made a new threat just for this only.

I have a serious question

When i get on the plane and if i wish to film inside and the window alot while about to fly that plane.. And you hear that announcement like allways (please turn all equipments mobile phone and any electrical goods turn off) so on... If i was to actually ignore this rule from qantas domestic flight.. What might happen? Would they get me in trouble perhaps?

I know that you can do whatever 20minutes later while the plane is in mid air you can then film take digital photos and such (no phone yet) so waiting 20min so the plane reaches a straight line in mid air.

If one attendant pass by and said miss please turn camera and put it down your feet there.. But if i was to say (no problems) and then suddently start filming as the plane is speeding down the runway to lift up.. what happens? they might think im opaying the rules and could do something bad to me perhaps?

Im very excited person and im always film around and so on for memories..

I dont no what may of happen if she or he sees i was filming again :)

Does it actually matter? to me its not like the plane would fall or interut. Considering everyone films on take off and landing and seen that very much so on youtube as it is.

you deside on this just so i know what might happen.

I ones in 2000 and 2002 accidently left my mobile phone on.. as i was filming in mid air as i later watch on tv what i film.. i could hear that tapping tone sound distraction sound via my mobile to the video handy camera. Which then realise i left my mobile phone on instead off.. And the plane was smooth as anything without a problem.

Finaly. bne to melb 737-800 qantas plane.. do they have slim line LCD tvs infront on all passangers seats ?

It probably won't cause the plane to crash, but I suspect you won't want to find out if it does.

Regardless, I strongly suggest you follow the instructions from the staff. Once the seat belt sign is off (it's not necessarily 20 minutes as you mentioned), you can probably take photos and videos, but not when the plane is taking off or landing.

Flying is a very different experience now than before 11 Sept, 2001.

Take a look at this page.

Flying with Us - In the Air - Communication

If staff see you using your camera when you're not supposed, they'll ask you to switch it off. They may ask you a couple of times, each time getting firmer. If you refuse to comply, you may expect police waiting for you when the plane lands.

On your 738, in-flight entertainment is delivered through TVs on the overhead panels, no individual screens.

Thanks for that.
I got the expression that if i was not to follow the rules just because i said ok ok... but look back and say oh shes not near by im just going to continue filming everything even landing and takeoffs so long qantas staff wont be looking.. But aniways i got the expression that if that was to follow they could strap me on my seat which is then offence suppose.

Last time i travel i was able to record alittle bit take off and everything as the plane was to land and i didnt get introuble thats because the virginblue staff was bukle up on thier own seats aniways like anyone does. Aniways we all understand the rules and regulation about this..

Its all the memory film thing ont tape. I get excitement and its like going on a great big air balloon when you wish to take images and or filming.

I gues i wont be wanting to get introuble.

I always thought like i said you wait 20minutes so the plane is in a stright line in mid air thats when you can then unbugle up and film and take images if you wish.. always that 20minutes you have to wait. But you said you can't? are you telling me you can film when it has allready off the runway even tho the plane is still lifting right up to the sky like a rocket? :)

You cannot turn on electronic devices until the seatbelt sign is turned off after takeoff. It is not fixed 20 minutes.

So when can i film and take digital photos then? wait until the sign says free un-bukle? or film in 5 minutes time after the plane just lift from the runway or something. I allways thought it was the wait 20minutes before you can.

Like someone else suggested, the Qantas website is a wealth of information, and has an excellent "Help" (FAQ) area where you can search for answers to a lot of questions. Please have a good look at the website.
