The Japanese now consider it a certainty!
What, after announcing they won't have built the new national stadium in time, they now think they will be able to build it? All on the back of one win!

I'm talking about the ordinary Japanese who now feel that the Government must come up with a solution.much the same as all countries feel.

Well, hard to disagree with that sentiment, though we all know Governments can sometimes not be very good at coming up with solutions.

Reasonable result for the Wallabies. Pocock + Hooper seems to work well with the former having huge influence. Lots of talk about missed the bonus point-suspect it won't be crucial in the end
Interesting that areas of strength were in the scrum and rolling maul-neither of them traditional areas so the Argentinian coaching influence may be working
Still too much decent ball kicked away with speculative kicks-the League influence seems to induce a sixth tackle mentality. Australia had to make many more tackles than Fiji simple because the Fijian kept it in hand and recycled

Switched the game on at the right time, woke up for the post game wrap up. The problems of hotel rooms, TV viewing from the bed.

Yes, the era of 16 phases then the winning try seem long gone. but I still remember the Farr-jones' Wallabies winning the world cup on a push over. An early morning I managed to stay awake.

i was disappointed in the second rowers. volavola strolled through simmons and douglas and the pace of the game didn't seem extraordinarily fast. backline pretty quiet also.

will be interested to see how eng & wales tackle the rolling maul as definite brumbies plan has been brought in. and why not with pocock directing traffic!

When we were all younger !

This was great information. Turns out SWMBO's preferred handbag is sold out in the entire Asia Pacific. I offered to fly to london around 18 October to pick one up for her.

Would you believe I was this close....

Surprised to see an email today showing still some ticket availability for RWC including some Au games and a Quarter Final. Wishing I could jump on a plane

Well I'm really feeling for Canada. But then they should've gone for the line instead of the kick.
Love the England Wales result.

Amazing result for Wales, against all odds. The game started slow but really built up to be a cracker. Very interesting pool of death now!

Wales remained cool despite losing key players through injury. Was tense until dying moments.

Great result Wales. Despite all injuries
Watch the UK media slaughter the uk team
But all good for the wallabies that they belt each other up before we play them

Or alternately they are just getting warned up for the Wallabies! A tough game early is probably better than a soft game against Uruguay.

Just sat in my room in Maida Vale London knowing no way I could get a ticket for the game. A good coverage by ITV, now Scotland v USA, then across the road to the White Horse to watch Crystal Palace play Watford... Go eagles.....

Good result
Send Quade home. The kiwi selectors have had their time selecting him

QC very mixed performance good for Wallabies-some were trying to get him back in the 1st XV again
