I stayed up late to see Samoa-Japan game. Enjoyed JP skills esp quick hand accurate passing and goalkicking. For most part game was kept in Samoan territory.

Crazy how big the Brits take the WC - my daughter living at Raynes Park through to January had to book a ticket few weeks ago just to see the game at the local. Nicely surprised to see her in a new Oz guernsey for the game.
Not surprised to see NZ and SA going poorly thus far. Both teams are based at the Lensbury Resort where we stayed last month. Takes a lot of getting used to the shoe box sized rooms.

Thought I'd pink the Webb Ellis Trophy while no one looking

An 8am kick off in New Zealand for the Australia v England game was pretty darn good.

The andye clan were all up at 6am in Sydney. Unfortunately it meant the 4 England supporters amongst us were taunted mercilessly by the 6 and 3 year old Wallaby boys

Watched the game here in Paris with the commentary in French. I think they were more excited seeing the Poms get beat than we were!

Gem 3am kickoff here in Perth, game was well worth it though!

The england game gives me some more confidence that the Wallabies could do well. Provided they can play that well for a full 80 minutes. If I read the draw properly beating Wales would mean the Wallabies would first mean the ABs in the final. (but this was just via much scrolling on the world cup iPhone app, could've misread)

If I've looked at the draw correctly, that is certainly a plausible final.

I was sitting in the pub at Disneyland Paris with some random Poms. Was hilarious how gutted they all are.

They just take rugby more serious than a Queenslander. Given the reds track record the last couple of years I can see why you wouldn't invest quite so much in your team winning!

I'm heading off to England tomorrow for the Australia Wales match.

Can't wait!!!! C'mon the Wallabies!!!

Means that they have likely qualified for the next world cup as long as Tonga don't manage to upset New Zealand

Bbq breakfast Sunday to watch the taped Wallabies v Wales
A Wallabies win and soft road to the final!!
