If u have QF points try the call centre for options. Even get to CDG FRA and buy a short haul

no probs- my buddy's got 4 but always good to have backup plans!

yep - been looking at any and every euro city that connects both inbound and outbound. found a few quirks if i get the trip signed off.

We received our tickets in the mail yesterday (at the in-laws' place in Germany), so watch out for the mail man in coming days/weeks, people!

Really getting excited about the trip now, planning to do a live TR as well (Germany, Switzerland, Newcastle (RWC), Bangkok, Singapore). Exactly 50 days to go until we're on the way to the airport...

Great result with the Wallabies defeat of AB's and Los Pumas crushing South Africa!

Will be going to AKL for 2 days tomorrow

Should I wear my Wallabies jersey????????

Still waiting for trh RWC tickets and no emails yet on their dispatch?

Anyone else had their email come through ?

Wife and I are going to the two 1/4 finals in cardiff (I'm kiwi she's Irish) so should be a lot of fighting going on if our teams end up meeting in one of these games haha.
tickets to the Sunday 1/4 final have turned up in Ireland at the in-laws but no sign of the Saturday game ones as yet.
On a side note,in December we managed to nab 2 Qantas F tickets AKL-SYD-LHR-DUB using AA miles for this trip ( will have our 15month old daughter with us,so apologies in advance to anyone in the F cabin on QF1 on October 12th :))

Who else is going?

I have secured my QF1 in F Class on 16/9/15 ( FASA) to get there in time for the opening game of England and Fiji on 18/9/15- seat 2A

That's my seat the next day! Unfortunately my wife & I am the only ones who likes Rugby and we are just in the wrong places at the wrong time. I promised the boys we would go to either an coughnal or Chelsea home game, whichever is on that week we are in London. Of course the home game is Chelsea v coughnal and sold out in some ridiculously short time. Of course, the entire family wanted to go so trying to find 6 tix is just stupid. Finally managed to get 6 x Centenary Club VIP tix. Would prefer RWC but beggars can't be choosers.

With team selection for this weekend just out, the world cup becomes more interesting by the day. I would've thought Cooper was the last person to put in the run on team.

needs to cut the squad so giving others a run to see who stacks up and who's not going to see any game time i reckon.

I've been wondering if he's trying to expand the repertoire of the combinations. He had 3 or 4 halfs pairings that only really worked together. Cooper is the standout who only really seemed to fire with Genia. If he can start to work with others, then that should bring varying game play requiring constant adaptation from the opposition.

Or the simple option - weeding out the dead wood. ;)

hopefully this!

phibbs had a poor game last week but him and white are leagues ahead of genia - his time has gone! was impressed with horwill last week which surprised me after his tough year in super XV.

Quade has never performed well against the All Blacks, maybe this is his "last chance". Somehow I don't think so, unfortunately.

Why not. You may get a free drink for your team coming second! :)

I suspect most of the wallabies have already picked themselves. This is probably a mix of last chance saloon for some (Quade). But in spite of my bullish mood for an AB win. The wallabies ambushed us last week!!' So I'm not giving anyone any points head start.

My wallaby selection advice-don't pick cooper. Don't rely on beale (though he may win you the game). Play pocock and hooper (especially as he is a roo, marlin , tah and wallaby). Not holding out much hope unless cheika's theory is to ambush from the bench

From catching up on my sports news reading, I would think Genia is probably getting nothing more than a pool match or 2. With injury he'd have to be 3rd option.

I've always been a bit of a supporter of Cooper. But stepping up to the wallabies has always been a problem. However, there was a marked improvement with his defence after the boxing fiasco. He has also missed most of the year with injury as well. I hold out hope that his selection is a stroke of brilliance, but not holding my breath.
